Doundrins Annual Bloody Mary Fest | April 12

The 4th Annual Bloody Mary Fest at Doundrins Distilling in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin is happening soon! This exciting event gives you the chance to sample Bloody Marys from 10-15 different bars and restaurants, all competing to create the best and most unique Bloody Mary using Doundrins spirits. You’ll enjoy samples of delicious Bloody Marys and garnishes while casting your vote for your favorites in three categories: best bloody, most unique bloody, and best garnish. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic options are available, so everyone can join in the festivities. You will be further entertained with music by DJ 4000. It is sure to be an unforgettable day of fun, flavor, and competition.

Midwest Horse Fair | April 11-13

The Midwest Horse Fair, one of the top three-day horse fairs in America, has been a beloved tradition in Madison, Wisconsin since 1979. It continues to grow bigger and better each year. Held at the Alliant Energy Center, this event is a fantastic experience for the whole family, offering something for everyone—from equine enthusiasts to first-time visitors. Owned by the Wisconsin Horse Council, Inc., all proceeds from the fair support the council’s mission to represent and strengthen the equine industry in Wisconsin. Through leadership, education, service, and communication, the fair plays a vital role in fostering the growth and development of the equine community for years to come.
